Upper Room to the Nations
Upper Room to the Nations
Residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya belonging to Cyrene, and visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes, Cretans and Arabians—we hear them telling in our own tongues the mighty works of God. Acts 2:9-11
Every Christ-encountering upper room is designed to not only touch heaven, but also to touch the nations.
On the Day of Pentecost, when God poured out His Holy Spirit on the 120 believers in the upper room, they were not only filled with the Holy Spirit, they immediately impacted the nations. Because of the Feast of Passover, there were thousands of Jewish and Proselyte pilgrims in the city of Jerusalem from the north (Cappadocia), the west (Asia, Macedonia, Rome and Crete), the south (Egypt and Libya), and the east (Arabia).
The first Christ-encountering Pentecost in the first upper room is the prototype of the kingdom principle, “from the upper room to the nations.” Within an hour or two of being filled with the Holy Spirit, the early church was out on the streets preaching Christ, and the results were unmistakable. Three thousand souls were added by baptism that day (Acts 2:41).
Is your upper room impacting the nations?
Father God, I want my upper room filled with Your Holy Spirit, and I want it to impact the nations, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Please PRAY!
We are asking God for the remaining world countries and U.S.A. states to receive the training of the College of Prayer. Pray with us today for Micronesia and Iowa.
