Blessed Resurrection
“Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! Over such the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him for a thousand years.” Revelation 20:6
If you think the highlight of heaven will be naptime, and that you will be just sitting around twiddling your thumbs, you are in for a big surprise!
God is a God who saves the best for last. Every day in heaven will bring better blessings than the day before. Heaven itself will be one glorious adventure.
Imagine spending all eternity receiving one blessing after another, and every new blessing is better than the one before.
You will be a priest interceding under Christ, and a king or queen ruling on behalf of Christ. You are not only promised eternity with Christ, when you will escape eternal judgment, you will have dignity, authority and nobility.
This blessing is a promise— They will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him.
Loving Father, I receive the promise of your extravagant blessings both for now and for eternity in Jesus name.
