The Priceless Gift of Contentment
The Priceless Gift of Contentment
“I have learned in whatever situation I’m in to be content.” Philippians 4:11
Contentment is worth more than a million dollars. We could say contentment is priceless; for everything else there is Master Card.
You probably know wealthy people who are agitated, restless, and malcontent. You probably also know some healthy souls who have little wealth but are full of contentment.
The apostle Paul was a day-laborer—specifically a tent maker. He made enough to get by as a bi-vocational apostle. He would not have accumulated much of a financial portfolio, but he was rich in spirit, rich in faith, and rich in character.
Contentment is a virtue to learn; it comes naturally to no one.
Contentment is a gift God wants to give you today, regardless of the size of your portfolios.
And that is a promise.
Loving Father, I receive the gracious gift of contentment from you now in Jesus name.
Please PRAY!
We are asking God for the remaining world countries and U.S.A. states to receive the training of the College of Prayer. Pray with us today for Marshall Islands and Iowa.
