Gathering and Giving
Gathering and Giving
“Whoever gathered much had nothing left over, and whoever gathered little had no lack.”
2 Corinthians 8:15
Some people are skilled at saving money. Some people are skilled at giving money. God wants to train you to do both with excellence.
Writing to the disciples in Corinth, the apostle Paul gave a kingdom promise: “Whoever gathered much had nothing left over, and whoever gathered little had no lack.”
Notice, there is a grace God has for you in gathering resources, and there is also a grace God has for you in giving resources.
God wants you to experience his miracle-working grace in both your gathering and your giving.
If you have been experiencing more of his grace in gathering, it’s time to appropriate his grace in giving. If, on the other hand, you have not experienced God’s activity in your finances, he wants you to open the door to this significant area of your life and welcome him in as your Provider. “Whoever gathered much had nothing left over, and whoever gathered little had no lack.”
And that is a promise.
Loving Father, I declare my wealth, and my ability to earn money as a gift from God. You are my Provider. I receive from you freely and I give to others freely in Jesus name.
Please PRAY!
We are asking God for the remaining world countries and U.S.A. states to receive the training of the College of Prayer. Pray with us today for Tuvalu and Oklahoma.
