Sunday Offerings
Sunday Offerings
“On the first day of every week, each of you is to put something aside and store it up, as he may prosper, so that there will be no collecting when I come.” 1 Corinthians 16:2
Giving to God ten percent of your income each week is either a delight or a dread. What determines the difference is whether or not you believe the promise of God.
God promises that He is your provider (Genesis 22:14), that he will supply all your needs according to his riches (Philippians 4:19), and that he will throw open the windows of heaven and pour out an overwhelming blessing (Malachi 3:10).
If you believe these Bible promises, you will delight in the opportunity you have every Sunday to give your full ten percent offering to God.
Some give online. Some give by direct deposit. Some write a check and put it in the offering basket each Sunday. Regardless of the method, God says, “on the first day of every week, each of you is to put something aside.”
The joy you have in obeying this command from God is determined by the faith you have in the promise of God’s provision.
Loving Father, I delight in giving you my tithes and offerings because I know you are my provider in Jesus name.
Please PRAY!
We are asking God for the remaining world countries and U.S.A. states to receive the training of the College of Prayer. Pray with us today for Timor-Leste and Kansas.
