Command Or Promise

Command Or Promise

“He [Jesus] said, ‘Come.’ So Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water and came to Jesus.” Matthew 14:29

Virtually every command of God is also a promise of God.

When Jesus was walking on water and Peter begged Jesus to invite him out of the boat, Jesus said one word, come.

So was that single word, come, a command or was it a promise?

Yes— it was both.

When God invites you to come, he promises to give you everything you need to make that step of obedience possible.

In what way is God inviting you to step out of your boat and start walking on water?

Loving Father, give me eyes to see that every command is also a promise in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Please PRAY!
We are asking God for the remaining world countries and U.S.A. states to receive the training of the College of Prayer. Pray with us today for Mauritius and Vermont.
