Assurance

Assurance

“I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life.” 1 John 5:13

The greatest promise you will ever receive from God is the gift of eternal life. The second greatest promise you will ever receive from God is the gift of the assurance of your salvation.

If you do not have the assurance of your salvation, it is impossible for you to enjoy all the other benefits Father God has for you.

Tomorrow marks the day on the Christian calendar when we remember the crucifixion. Jesus died to make it possible for you to live forever.
Question: do you know for certain that when you die you will go to heaven, or is that something you are still working on?

Today you can drive a stake— mark this date— to receive salvation and the assurance of salvation in Jesus’ name. Don’t wait for tomorrow— receive today.

Father God, I do believe in the name of the Son of God Jesus Christ. And on the basis of your written word, I receive salvation in Christ, and I receive the assurance of your salvation today in Jesus’ name. Amen.
