Dwell in the House
Dwell in the House
One thing I have asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life. Psalm 27:4
God does not need a house for His omnipresence. Whenever the house of the Lord is spoken of in the Bible, it always refers to God’s manifest presence—where God dwells tangibly in His perceived presence. Does David’s heart cry strike a chord in you? Are you a person who desires “one thing More specifically, are you a Christ-follower who desires more than anything else in life to dwell in the manifest presence of your God?
If so, then wait no longer. Jump in! Join King David and millions of others who have chosen as their “one thing†or ultimate priority to dwell forever in the manifest presence of God.
Loving Father, today I come before you, not with a hundred requests on my prayer list, but rather, with a single request—to dwell in Your manifest presence today and always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
