God-Encountering Privileges
Give us today our daily bread and forgive us our debts… Matthew 6:11-12a
As a child of the Father, it is your privilege to come to your Daddy each day and receive everything you need to meet your two daily needs—food and forgiveness. Like a good father, God loves to bring in the groceries—Give us today our daily bread—and to take out the garbage—forgive us our debts.
Food and forgiveness represent the two basic needs of your humanity—your physical needs (food) and your spiritual needs (forgiveness).
As you learn to use the greatest God-encountering apostolic prayer pattern ever given, you will learn the great life-lesson that God designed you to be dependent on Him for your daily existence. Your needs should not frustrate you; your needs are God-given to lead you to consistent God-encounters.
Father God, I boldly bring to You both my physical needs—give us today our daily bread—and my spiritual needs—forgive us our debts. I come not only on my behalf, but on behalf of my family and friends. I declare the abundance of Your provision over our lives today.
