Three in One

Three in One

For through Him [Christ] we both have access in One Spirit to the Father. Ephesians 2:18

Acknowledging the Trinity, one God, three Persons, is essential to effective prayer.

In only a few words, Ephesians 2:18 gives us profound revelation into the dynamic role of each Person of the One True God. It is the Father God whom we approach in prayer. It is Christ, God the Son, through whom we have access to the Father. It the Spirit of God who activates our encounter with the Father.

While we are often unconscious of the role of each Person of the Godhead when we pray, it is a glorious revelation to understand the harmonious and distinct role each Person plays.

When we pray, we encounter One God, three Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Praise the Lord!

Father God, today I come to You in the Name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, empowered by Your Holy Spirit as I encounter You.
