Rights and Privileges
But to all who did receive Him, who believed in His Name, He gave the right to become children of God. John 1:12
Calling God ‘Father’ is not a right you earn or deserve, but it is a right you receive when you come to Christ. Christ alone gives you the right to call God, Father.
For all eternity you will be praising Christ for adopting you into the family—for giving you the legal right to call Him Daddy. What an honor! What a joy! What a privilege!
Along with the legal right to call God, Father, comes all the privileges that belong to Christ. You receive the joy of Christ, the peace of Christ, the security of Christ, the love of Christ, the favor of Christ, the blessing of Christ.
Just let this sink in—because you are in Christ, you are loved as Christ.
Loving Father, I shout HALLELUJAH today! I am Your child with all rights and privileges.
