Truthful Holy Spirit

"When the Spirit of Truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth."  John 16:13

The Holy Spirit is always telling the truth. Always.

Jesus identified the devil as the liar, and the father of lies who always lies because lying is his native language. (See John 8:44)

The Holy Spirit, on the other hand, always speaks the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, because truth telling is His native language.

When the Holy Spirit speaks to us, we can count on Him to tell us the truth -- the truth about ourselves and the truth about God.

Holy Spirit, today I honor You as the Spirit of Truth. You promise to teach me all truth, and I wholeheartedly welcome your tutelage in my life.
