I Myself am Going

I Myself am Going

"Let us go at once to entreat the favor of the Lord and to seek the Lord of Hosts; I myself am going."
Zechariah 8:21

When the Spirit of God moves, He moves people to pray.

How would you like to be part of a city wide prayer movement that is so influential that it is reported in the daily news feed?

In 1858, the Washington National Intelligence, a leading newspaper, reported that daily prayer meetings were held in 150 towns in Massachusetts, 200 in New York, 60 in New Jersey, 64 in Pennsylvania, and 200 in Ohio. It is estimated that, of the United States population of thirty million, nearly two million were born again during this remarkable move of God’s Holy Spirit.

He can do it again today, right where you live.

Father God, in my heart pour out on me a spirit of prayer. Move me to seek Your face. Raise up in my small group a passion for Your presence. In my church, mobilize prayer, that our congregation will be a house of prayer for all nations. In my city, mobilize prayer in schools, in businesses, and yes, in every church. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
