Empowering Spirit
You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. Acts 1:8
The town you live in will probably never be impressed by what you do, but it would certainly be impressed when it sees what God can do.
God wants to empower you today. He wants to manifest signs and wonders through your life and ministry. Can He trust you with His power?
God works miracles today just as often as He did in the early church, but He wants to make sure that He receives the glory.
Jesus taught His disciples to declare in prayer, “Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory.” God loves to manifest His power in us and through us as long as we understand it is His power and not our own.
As you receive the Holy Spirit today, don’t forget to receive power.
Father God, clothe me with power today so that my community might know that there is a miracle working God here among them.
