Speaking Spirit

 Speaking Spirit

He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. Revelation 2:7, 11, 17, 29, 3:6, 13, 22

The Holy Spirit loves to talk. He is an excellent communicator. God speaks in many and various ways—through the Bible, spiritual gifts, dreams and visions, His inner voice, other believers, and circumstances—but He always speaks by His Holy Spirit.

The more we get to know the Holy Spirit, the more we will learn to recognize the voice of God.

When the early church gathered to pray in Antioch, it was the Holy Spirit who said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul” (Acts 13:2). Everyone heard the Holy Spirit, everyone knew exactly what the Holy Spirit said, and everyone agreed that it was the voice of God’s Spirit who was speaking.

If you have trouble hearing from God, the problem is not with Him, but with you. God is a talker, and He wants to make you a listener.

Lord Jesus, give me ears to hear what Your Holy Spirit is saying today.
