Filling Spirit
Be filled with the Spirit. Ephesians 5:18
Every Christian has the Holy Spirit, but not every Christian is filled with the Holy Spirit. It is no more possible for your life to be 100% full of the Holy Spirit, all the time, as it is to maintain 100% battery charge on your phone, tablet, or laptop computer. Just as we daily recharge our electronic devices, we want to daily be refilled with the Holy Spirit.
To be full of the Holy Spirit is to be controlled and under the influence of the Holy Spirit.
Just as God wants us to not only be saved and to know that we are saved, God wants us to be filled with the Holy Spirit and to know for certain that we are filled.
God never asks you to do something without offering to enable you to do it. When He tells you to be filled with the Holy Spirit, He makes it possible. You can trust Him. Now. Be filled!
Father God, right now I receive the infilling of Your Holy Spirit. Take control of me - spirit, soul, and body, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
