Christ-Encountering Spirit

Christ-Encountering Spirit

He will glorify me. John 16:14

There is no better worship leader than the Holy Spirit.

If you want to consistently enjoy Christ-encountering worship, learn to follow the lead of the Holy Spirit when you pray. Jesus tells us as His disciples that the Holy Spirit, “will glorify me.” If Christ seems distant and your prayers seem to get no higher than the ceiling, ask the Holy Spirit to glorify Christ to you.

God is a self-revealing God, and at times He seems to sit on the other side of a one-way mirror. You know He can see you, but you can’t see Him. Then suddenly, the Holy Spirit turns the light on in the other room where God is so-to-speak, and immediately you can see through the mirror and recognize the One who has been near you all the time.

The Holy Spirit can turn the light on Christ for you today.

Father God, fill me now with Your Holy Spirit and glorify Christ to me today. Amen.
