Obeying Spirit
The Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey Him. Acts 5:32
The Holy Spirit is good at many things, and one of them is obedience. The Holy Spirit has never disobeyed God the Father, and He is the One who enables us to obey Him, also. The Holy Spirit leads us to obedience, and obedience leads us to receive more of the Holy Spirit.
In what area of obedience do you need Holy Spirit help? We all have some stubborn sin or areas of chronic disobedience. We don’t need to fake it nor live in denial. Admit your sin. Tell God. Ask Him to change you. Ask Him to come and fill you, to control you, and to do in you what you cannot do for yourself. He is waiting for you to ask. He is ready, willing, and able to make your obedience possible.
God will give you more of His Holy Spirit when you obey Him.
Holy Spirit, fill me with Your presence. Empower me to obey You, in Jesus’ Name.
