Praying Spirit

Praying Spirit

Praying at all times in the Spirit with all prayer and supplication. Ephesians 6:18

If you want to learn to pray, you want to get to know the Holy Spirit. No one knows how to pray better than the Holy Spirit. To be full of prayer, you need to be full of the Holy Spirit.

When the Apostle Paul exhorted the believers in the city of Ephesus to pray in the Spirit on all occasions, he opened the door to the them to enter a whole new level of prayer that depended not on their own ability to pray, but on the ability of the Holy Spirit. At any moment, the Holy Spirit has access to every form of prayer imaginable. The Holy Spirit knows exactly what kind of prayer we need at every moment.

Today, as you pray, resist the temptation to pray under your own power. Pray under the power, impulse, motivation, and prompting of the Holy Spirit. He will take your prayer life to a whole new place.

Father God, thank You for filling me with Your praying Holy Spirit. Today, I receive all kinds of prayers from the Spirit.
