Everyone needs help defeating temptation, including you.
When you want to defeat temptation, there is no better source of help than the Bible itself.
How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word.
God wants you to be a fighter, and he wants you to win. The greatest battle you face is against sin, and the greatest weapon you have to win the fight is the Bible.
I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.
If you want to defeat sin within your heart, your best method is to put God’s power-packed word into your heart. There are no shortcuts to defeating sin, but there is a promise that the Bible will empower you to win.
Loving Father, I take the word of God as my weapon against sin in Jesus’ name.
