God’s Riches
“And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19
Some of the strongest Bible promises are promises of God’s financial provision— and for good reason! Money is often the source of fear in us, and yet God intends money to be a source of faith.
When the apostle Paul was speaking to the church in Philippi about his own financial contentment and appealing to them to give a generous financial offering, he reminds them, “my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”
God wants to remind you today of his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
There are two important principles here:
When we realize God’s financial riches, we will be financially content.
When we realize God’s financial riches, we will freely give our resources to others.
Do you recognize God’s financial riches?
God’s financial riches are God’s promise to you today.
Loving Father, I see your riches in Christ Jesus, and I receive the blessings of financial contentment in Jesus name.
