Healing Emotional Wounds

Healing Emotional Wounds

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” Psalm 147:3

It is easy to overlook emotional wounds. Christ not only wants you to acknowledge your emotions, he wants to heal them. You just need to be honest with him.

Physical wounds are hard to deny. A blister on the hand, a nick on the chin while shaving, or a stubbed toe are hard to deny.

Emotional wounds, on the other hand, are easy to deny. When you are mocked, criticized, or overlooked, your feelings are hurt. Rejection, alienation, loneliness, can be just as brutally painful as a broken bone, and yet they are often overlooked.

Today God wants you to know for certain that he not only understands your emotional wounds, he is prepared to bind up your wounds and heal your broken heart.

Loving Father, I come now in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to tell you all about my emotional pain and to receive your divine healing.
