A Promise to Behold

A Promise to Behold

“Behold! I stand at the door and knock.” Revelation 3:20

When God says, Behold! He is not only giving a command, He is giving a wake up call that activates in you the ability to see something you have never seen before.

There is nothing the lukewarm church of Laodicea needed more than to receive the ability to see Christ standing at the door knocking. The fact that He is standing at the door, indicates that He is on the outside, not on the inside, and that is a tragedy. Jesus is showing himself separate and distinct from all the busywork and futile activity of the lukewarm church.

Behold! is a word of activation.
Behold! activates in you the ability to gain an accurate view of reality.

There is nothing the lukewarm church needs more today than to hear Christ say, Behold! There is nothing your own heart needs more today than to hear Christ say to you, Behold! I stand at the door and knock.

Father God, I repent and I wake up. I see and comprehend the reality of Christ knocking at the door of my church. Lord Jesus I see you knocking, I hear you knocking, and I open the door. Come in Lord Jesus.
