Kingdom Greatness

Kingdom Greatness

“Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 18:4

One of the most revolutionary impacts the kingdom of Christ will have on you is when it turns your value system completely upside down. When you begin to despise things you used to treasure, and treasure things you used to despise, you can be sure the kingdom of God has come.

One day when the disciples were wasting their time discussing among themselves who was greatest. Jesus turned their thinking upside down. He grabbed a young, runny-nosed child, put his arm around him, and made the announcement, Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

Human greatness is usually identified by wealth, power, and influence. In the kingdom of Christ, however, greatness is defined by dependence, gratitude, and faith.

God wants the kingdom to change your definition of greatness today.

Loving Father, I desire kingdom greatness and I welcome you to re-define what greatness looks like in Jesus’ name.
