A Level Playing Field

A Level Playing Field

“Truly, I say to you, the tax collectors and the prostitutes go into the kingdom of God before you.” Matthew 21:31

The kingdom of God levels the playing field.
The first shall be last, and the last shall be first.
Paupers become princes.
Orphans and widows are set in families.
We will all dine with kings and queens because we will all be kings and queens.

When we get to heaven, by the grace of Christ, we will have many surprises.
We will be surprised at who will be there.
We will be surprised at who will not be there.
We will be overwhelmingly grateful that we will be there.
None of us has the right to look down on anyone. Everyone in the kingdom is of infinite worth to Christ; he has already purchased them with his blood.

The kingdom of God delivers you from any sense of superiority or inferiority. The kingdom levels the playing field

Loving Father, thank you for tearing down the walls of racial supremacy, ethnic profiling, and placing the value of some people above others. I am grateful to be your beloved child living in a kingdom with a culture of honor.
