Hidden Treasure
“The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up. Then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.” Matthew 13:44
The kingdom of God is full of surprises. You never know when you will stumble on your next kingdom treasure— sometimes it is right underneath your feet.
A farmer can plow the same field for a lifetime until one day the plow blade hits a treasure chest that had been buried generations earlier. In the same way, the kingdom of God can be buried just underneath the surface of your life waiting for you to discover it.
Both the kingdom and the kingdom treasure will never be discovered until they are revealed to you by the Holy Spirit.
Loving Father, reveal your kingdom treasure to me today in Jesus’ name.
