Small and Mighty Kingdom

Small and Mighty Kingdom

“The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his field.” Matthew 13:31

The kingdom of God is certainly small in appearance, yet mighty in impact.

The mustard seed is small yet mighty. It is the smallest seed in the garden, yet it grows to be a large bush.

The shakers and movers in the kingdom of God are not necessarily the shakers and movers in the kingdom of man.

God chooses the lowly, marginalized, seemingly powerless people to change the world, because not only is the kingdom of God small and mighty, but so are the people God chooses to advance his kingdom.

You may feel small, insignificant, and ineffective. Your kingdom-effectiveness, however, does not depend on your personality, position, nor prominence. Your kingdom-effectiveness depends on one thing— the kingdom of God itself.

Put yourself wholeheartedly under the influence of the kingdom, and you will be amazed at how much influence God will have through you.

Loving Father, I wholeheartedly receive the mighty impact of the kingdom in me and through me today in Jesus’ name.
