Child-Like Kingdom

Child-like Kingdom

“Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.”
Mark 10:15

Child-ishness is the sure sign of immaturity; but in the kingdom of Christ, child-likeness is the sure sign of maturity.

Healthy children are playful, grateful, spunky, spontaneous, and ready for anything. Spoiled, immature children are grumpy, bored, irresponsible, and demanding.

When Christ invited you into his kingdom, he invited you to be re-parented and to become child-like again.

It is time for you to throw off your child-ish ways and allow the kingdom of Christ to make you child-like.

And that is a promise.

Loving Father, I humble myself today and repent of my child-ishness. Re-parent now in Jesus’ name and make my heart child-like again.
