The Promise Of The Father

The Promise Of The Father

“And while staying with them he ordered them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, which, he said, ‘you heard from me; for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.’”
Acts 1:4-5

Father God is a Promise-Maker and a Promise-Keeper. Of all the thousands of promises Father God made, there is only one promise that is called the promise of the Father. The promise of the Father is the baptism with the Holy Spirit.

If you have never received the promise of the Father, or if you are not certain that you have received, today Christ wants you to take hold of this promise and to take it to the bank of heaven.

Loving Father, right now I wade into the waters of your Holy Spirit. Lord Jesus, I put myself under your control, and I ask you right now to immerse me, saturate me, and baptize me in the waters of your Holy Spirit from the top of my head to the bottom of feet. Saturate every cell in my body and take control over every area of my life in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
