Put On Love

Put On Love

“And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.” Colossians 3:14

God wants you to know that everything he expects you to do, he also empowers you to do. This means that every command of God is also a promise of God. When God says, put on love, he wants you to know that in Christ you have the ability to love like Christ.

If there is someone in your life today who is a challenge for you to love, take hold of this command as a promise, and receive the love you need from Jesus in order to love that person.

Loving Father, thank you that all the commands of God are promises of God for me in Christ. Right now I receive the love you have for this challenging person, and love them through me. Give me an action step to take today that will express your love for them in a way that they’ll understand.
