“Nations will come to Your light.” Isaiah 60:3
On this day, September 29, in the year of our Lord 1903, the Welsh Revival broke out. It was a sustained move of God that lasted more than 24 months. Under the leadership of Evan Roberts, there were thousands of Charismatic-like manifestations such as prophecy, discerning of spirits, tongues, interpretation, visions, and much holy trembling. This move of God triggered a hunger around the world for authentic Holy Spirit manifestations, and likely served as a precursor to William Seymour and the Azusa Street Revival.
Loving Father, sweep across Wales again today, and manifest Your reviving presence in my nation as well.
