Day 2: Kingdom Ready or Not

"Jesus left the temple and was going away, when his disciples came to point out to him the buildings of the temple. But he answered them, 'You see all these, do you not? Truly, I say to you, there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.'” Matthew 24:1-2
The theme of our 2023 Breakthrough Fast is most appropriate-- Kingdom Ready. We are living during a time in history when every kingdom that can be shaken is being shaken. It is easy to feel like our lives and foundations are being shaken. Take a kingdom lesson from Jesus and his disciples.
Jesus' disciples were impressed with the kingdom foundations of the massive Jewish temple. Jesus immediately corrected their thinking-- he gave them a prophetic word about the shaking, and even the destruction, of the temple.
We are all impressed with the kingdoms of our world-- financial wealth, political power, cultural success. We tend to think that these kingdoms are unshakable. It is almost impossible to avoid depending on them to some extent.
Even after three years of kingdom discipleship, the disciples were not yet kingdom ready because they were putting their trust in a shakable kingdom. No one who trusts in a shakable kingdom is kingdom ready.
During these 21 days allow Christ to shake you free from dependence on any shakable kingdom.

- MAKE A LIST of every shakable kingdom you can identify.
- REPENT of putting your hope in any shakable kingdom.
- SHIFT YOUR HOPE to the kingdom that cannot be shaken.
- RECEIVE the unshakable kingdom into your own life and the lives of those you love.
