You have poured over me fresh oil. Psalm 92:10

On New Year’s Day, you don’t so much need a new car, new house or new marriage. You do, however, need new oil from God.
Too often we become discontent with our station in life—our friends, our home, our family, our local church. Perhaps what is needed is not a change in your environment, but a change in your heart that leads you to a fresh encounter with Christ.
When God leads you to a fresh encounter with Him, no matter where you are, everything changes.
We all continually need fresh oil, that is, a fresh cleansing of the blood of Christ, an up-to-date fresh encounter with the manifest presence of Christ, and a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit.
What are you waiting for? Receive fresh oil now to face the challenge and opportunities that lie ahead of you this New Year. When you receive fresh oil, God will reveal to you your new assignments. Chances are, your new assignment will be in the same old place.
Father God, I am a candidate for a fresh encounter with Christ. Pour fresh oil over me that You would anoint me for the assignments You have given me today, in Jesus’ Name.

This is January 1, 2023. I have just discovered this app with daily devotionals. Thank you! I am praying for fresh oil to flow in and over me today and every day of 2023!!!
