Freedom From Financial Fear

Freedom From Financial Fear

“Therefore, I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?” Matthew 6:25

Praise the Lord, God promises you financial provision for your daily necessities. He does not promise you riches, but he certainly promises you enough.

Life’s two most basic necessities are food and clothing, and these are the two necessities God promises.

When Jesus taught his disciples to pray, give us today our daily bread, he was giving more than a six-word religious slogan; he was teaching a foundational kingdom principle: Your God is your provider.

Most believers recognize that God is their provider, but did you know that your provider is your God? Whatever you look to as your source of income is your God. This is precisely why Jesus wanted his disciples to recognize that their day jobs of fishing were not their provider— God was!

God wants you to recognize that He is your Provider as well.
And that is a promise.

Loving Father, I receive this promise— that you will feed and clothe me. I receive from you today my daily bread in Jesus name.
