Progressive Healing
“I see people, but they look like trees, walking.” Mark 8:24
Sometimes God heals immediately; more frequently, he heals progressively.
All healing—even incremental healing—is a miracle, and we should praise God for every small step in the right direction.
When Jesus began healing the blind man, he asked, do you see anything? While Jesus obviously knew the answer, he wanted the man to acknowledge the first miraculous step of healing. Identifying even incremental healing is important.
For a man who had not seen the light of day for many years, being able to identify shapes, even without recognizing faces, was still a monumental step in the right direction.
As you seek Christ for you complete healing, don’t miss the incremental steps along the way
Loving Father, as I seek you for full healing, I praise you for my partial healing in Jesus name.
