Ground Zero

Ground Zero

“The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.”  Revelation 22:2

Praise God that Jesus’ healing is personal—that he delights in healing both your physical and emotional wounds. But did you ever think that the healing of Jesus extends to the nations?

The cross is ground zero.

The term ground zero was first used in reference to the atom bomb dropped during World War II. The ground beneath and the air space above a nuclear explosion was referred to as ground zero—everything beneath and everything above was instantly changed.

The cross of Jesus is accurately called the ultimate ground zero, because at the moment of Christ’s death, both the ground beneath and airspace above the cross of Christ changed forever.

The atonement of Christ brings healing to the nations—all nations through all ages forever and ever.

When you consider Christ’s healing on this macro level, is should make it easier to dial in his healing for you today on a micro level

Loving Father, I praise you for your healing of the nations, as well as for me today in Jesus name.
