Revival Lesson From The Vine

Revival Lesson From The Vine

“I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5

You can pray with absolute certainty for revival knowing that it is the promise of God, because the nature of the church necessitates it.

When Christ built his church, he built it from the ground up in need of ongoing revival.

When Jesus used the grape vine as an allegory for the church, he was proving the point— just as a branch must receive constant new life from the vine, so the church must receive ongoing revival from Christ.

This is the promise of God: church revival

Revival was not an afterthought. Revival is not God’s second best. Christ built revival and the necessity for revival into the church from the very beginning.

Loving Father, I recognize that you built into your church the need for ongoing revival, and I receive that revival today in Jesus name.
