Last Days Promise

Last Days Promise

“And in the last days it shall be, God declares, I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh.” Acts 2:17

Of course, God promises revival. There are literally dozens of Bible verses in which God promises revival.

On the day of Pentecost Peter quotes one of many Bible promises in which God promised revival. He selected a promise of revival that was first given approximately seven hundred years prior to its fulfillment. See Joel 2:28-29.

God's reviving presence was first fulfilled on the day of Pentecost one month after Jesus' ascension. This promise, however, is just as rock-solid today as it was then. And this promise will continue to be rock- solid until Christ returns.

You can bank on it-- revival is a promise of God.

Loving Father, today I claim the promise of revival-- In the last days I will pour out my Spirit, declares the Lord.
