Holy Spirit Receiving

Holy Spirit Receiving

“If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” Luke 11:13

This verse, Luke 11:13, has been the catalyst for more regional revivals throughout church history than perhaps any other text of scripture. And there is a simple reason for this; Luke 11:13 promises revival.

Many verses call us to ask and receive, but Luke 11:13 explicitly calls us to ask for the Holy Spirit, and to receive the Holy Spirit.

Don't overthink it. Don't talk yourself into unbelief. Simply take this verse at face value.

Luke 11:13 is one of many examples where the Bible promises revival.

Loving Father, right now I receive a fresh infilling of your Holy Spirit in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
