Many Afflictions
“Many are the afflictions of the righteous.” Psalm 34:19
It is all too easy to think, I am facing afflictions, therefore, I must be out of God’s will; or maybe he turned his back on me.
If you have many afflictions in your life, quit beating yourself up. The presence of affliction does not indicate the absence of God.
While the devil wants to kick you when you’re down, God wants to convince you of His Presence. Claim this promise today, and free yourself from self-condemnation.
Loving Father, I receive your presence in the middle of my affliction. Thank you that when my afflictions increase, your promises prove true.
