All Comfort In All Affliction

All Comfort In All Affliction

“God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

God has comfort for you today. Don’t cheat yourself by failing to receive.

When it comes to receiving comfort, we don’t need to ration God’s supply. God is not stingy when it comes to comfort. He is, after all, the God of all comfort.

Affliction comes in many ways— interpersonal conflict, disappointments with God, financial shortfall, career transitions, physical illness. For this reason, God wants us to pair up all our affliction with his supply of all comfort.

Right now, get honest with God. Tell him point-blank exactly what disappointment, heartache, affliction you are facing, and welcome him as the God of all comfort.

Loving Father, right now listen to my affliction…(Be specific.) I welcome you, God of all comfort, into my messy life in Jesus’ name.
