Return To Me

Return To Me

“’Yet even now,’ declares the Lord, ‘return to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.’”
Joel 2:12

The call to return to God, is a promise that you will be accepted when you come. It’s good to know before you return that you will be received with open arms. That is a promise you can bank on.

When you return God expects you to come with all your heart. Half-hearted returning is unacceptable to the God who gave his all for you.

The heart of returning to God is repentance. Repentance is like driving down the highway, slamming on the brakes, doing a 180, getting in the back seat and letting Jesus take the wheel.
Repentance is a radical change of heart that results in a radical change in thinking, and a radical change in lifestyle.

God’s call return to me with all your heart is a promise that he loves you with all his heart. Returning to God leads you in repentance and results in a loving reunion.

Father God, today I repent— I return to you with all my heart. Thank you for loving me with all your heart.
