All-Inclusive Love
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
Happy Valentine’s Day! God wants you to know that He did not send you a box of chocolates or a dozen roses— He sent you His Son to prove to you just how much He loves you.
It is a wonder with all we’ve done— rebellion, violence, mockery, and arrogance— that God still loves the world. He not only loves the world, He proved it!
When Christ died and arose, God proved his love for our toxic world once and for all. When He died, He not only died for sins previously committed, but for all future sin as well, including the sin in the world today. You may have given up on the world, but take heart— God has not. He still loves the world and He loves you.
Father God, thank you for your all-inclusive love for the world around me. And thank you for your all-inclusive love for the world within me.
