Love Stronger Than Circumstances
“For I am sure that neither… things present nor things to come…will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39
The greatest need in your life today is to keep your heart in the love of God.
As you face adversity, the promise of God’s indomitable love for you is the most important promise to take hold of.
Things present refers to all the circumstances you currently face that are trying to convince you that God does not love you.
Thing to come refers to circumstances you fear in the future. God wants to know that no current reality, nor future possibility— no matter how extreme— is capable of removing you from the reality of God’s abiding love. It’s not going to happen. God has promised his love to you and God wants you to receive it now.
Loving Father, I trust your inseparable love. Your love for me is greater than my fears and greater than my circumstances.
