Virtue Promises

Virtue Promises

“For the Lord is good.” Psalm 100:5a

Every virtue of God is a promise because God’s character will never change. His attributes are immutable, unchangeable. You can stand on the promises of God and you can stand on the virtues of God— they will never let you down.

The far-reaching call to praise the Lord in Psalm 100 sits on top of the irrefutable virtues of God’s goodness.

For the Lord is good is the foundation stone on which all other promises rest. The popular declaration, “God is good, all the time,” is not only catchy, it is a promise for you today.

Loving Father, I make this my declaration today— for the Lord is good! Your goodness is unchangeable and I trust you to work for good in my life today.
