“Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to serve for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation?” Hebrews 1:14
Your Father promises you that angels will serve you. He wants you to know it and to count on it.
Look closely at how angels are described.
Spirits—they are invisible.
Ministering spirits—they were created to serve.
For the sake of those who are to inherit salvation—while angels certainly serve Christ, they also serve those who follow Christ.
As a follower of Christ, your Father appoints angels to serve you. Angels are God’s promise of protection.
Loving Father, thank you for the promise of angel armies. When situations in life become overwhelming, thank you for sending ministering spirits to serve me as I serve Christ.
