Amen! Promises
“For all the promises of God find their Yes in him. That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory.” 2 Corinthians 1:20
When God gives you a promise in his word, he wants to teach you to take it to the bank of heaven, cash in, and make a withdrawal. God does not simply want you to read the promises; he wants you to say a loud AMEN!
If you were not in Christ, it would be utterly presumptuous to assume that the promises of God are for you. When you understand the reality of what it means to be in Christ, you understand that you are loved as Christ, accepted as Christ, protected as Christ, and blessed as Christ. This reality should cause a loud AMEN! to erupt from your soul.
Father God, today I take this AMEN! promise to the bank of heaven with joy and confidence. Because I am in Christ I am loved, protected, and blessed as Christ. Amen and amen!
