Yes! Promises
“All the promises of God find their Yes in him.” 2 Corinthians 1:20
Every promise from God is on fire—that is, they are intended to lead you to encounter the fire of God’s manifest presence. Today God wants you to know a secret about his promises—all the promises are Yes! This means that the certainty of fulfilling the promises does not depend on you, but on Christ. This is huge!
As you read Bible promises, you do not need to play mind games—does this verse apply to me? How can this possibly happen? The promises of God do not depend on you, they depend on Christ. All the promises of God find their Yes in him. This means that when God gives you a promise in Scripture, or by a prophetic word, you can trust him to fulfill the promise because you are in Christ, and in Christ all his promises are Yes!
Loving Father, I receive the Yes! of Jesus on the promises of God for me today. I am not a pauper or a vagabond; I am child of God in Christ with all rights and privileges, and all the promises of God are mine.
