Love Invincible
“Give thanks to the Lord for His steadfast love endures forever.” 2 Chronicles 20:21
The steadfast love of the Lord is invincible— and that’s a promise!
If you have wandered into a dark night of the soul where you feel like life is not fair, like no one cares, like God has turned his back on you, that God no longer loves you, God hands you one of his bedrock promises that you can stand on even if you feel like you’re standing alone— the steadfast love of the Lord endures forever.
When circumstances lie to you and try to convince you that God’s love for you came to an end a long time ago, you can grab hold of this promise and declare a higher reality. Don’t deny the reality of your difficult circumstance, but take hold of the higher reality of God’s love for you.
Loving Father, I repent of losing sight of your love for me. Today I take hold of this promise-- the steadfast love of the Lord endures forever.
