“He has granted to us his precious and very great promises.” 2 Peter 1:4
Every promise from God is on fire—that is, they are intended to lead you to encounter the fire of God’s manifest presence. For this reason, God’s promises are called precious and very great.
This all-new 2022 Year on Fire is devoted to leading you to encounter Christ daily in the promises of God. Every day will contain a new promise from God that will strengthen your faith, build your prayer life, and deepen your love relationship with Christ.
These two words—precious and very great—will become more meaningful to you throughout the coming year.
Precious because you will discover how valuable, cherished, relevant, and useful his promises truly are.
Very great because you will discover how practical, potent, life-changing, and transformational his promises truly are. As you read God’s word and listen to his prophetic voice, he will teach you every day to recognize the promises, and take them to the bank of heaven to make a withdraw.
Father God, today begin training me in the promises of God. Help me recognize them, take firm hold of them, and bring them into the courts of heaven daily and receive from your abundance.
